our story

Artifex Northwest was created as T&N Woodworking by two Seattle natives more than thirty years ago. Building on a background of cabinetry and boatmaking the shop changed and grew. In the early 1990’s the name was changed to Museum Resource to reflect our growing presence in the museum and fine art display world. Artifex Northwest blends this rich history of work into a shop that creates unique and varied work with the highest standards and quality. Our approach allows us to appreciate every job as unique and worthy of our full attention. We strive to produce high quality custom work at an approachable price.
